Artnews.org is a non-profit information platform devoted to explore the work of cultural producers and their contributions to the poetic and imaginary realm. It aims to pay tribute to their work, to present and preserve their ideas, share knowledge and trigger new productions. Artnews.org was founded 2001 as a research project at University of the Arts in Berlin and was officially launched 2003 at Künstlerhaus Bethanien. Between 2006 and 2010 it was running Artnews Projects - an experimental exhibition space in Berlin-Mitte. The sensibility of the subject and the vivid collaboration with artists and writers reshaped the project time and again upon the needs of the community.
After a major relaunch in 2016 much of Artnews.org is now available with extended features on the online library of Artmap.com.
